Note that there is also an Eldorado between a pure oblique and a pure italic. Luckily we're starting to see more exploration of that goldmine here and there.1 -

Something I really relish owning: "A Type Detective Story" by Matthew Woolman. It's a fun typographic crime/mystery of sorts, but also highly educational, and superbly produced.1
